The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially released the results of the April 2026 Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Electrical Engineers (PEE) on April 28, 2026.

According to PRC, a total of 75 examinees successfully passed the technical evaluation conducted by the Board of Electrical Engineering this April 2026. 

The evaluation was held in multiple testing locations, including: Doha, Qatar, Dubai, United Arab Emirates & National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines 

This evaluation allows qualified Registered Electrical Engineers (REEs) to upgrade their professional status and become Professional Electrical Engineers (PEEs)—a higher level of licensure in the field.

The Technical Evaluation was conducted by the members of the Board of Electrical Engineering, namely: Engr. Adelino V. Garcia Jr. – Chairman, Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza – Member & Engr. Alex C. Cabugao – Member.

Registration Schedule

Successful examinees are advised that registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration will begin on: June 15, 2026 

Further instructions regarding registration procedures and oathtaking schedules will be announced by PRC.

About the PEE Technical Evaluation

Unlike regular board exams, the Technical Evaluation for PEE is a specialized assessment that evaluates an engineer’s: Professional experience, Technical competence & Engineering achievements

This process is required for REEs who aim to upgrade to the highest level of electrical engineering practice in the Philippines.
